5th wheeling the Villacortas and Doctoleros in Vegas

So this past weekend I was in Vegas. Fun times.

Trip to Vegas:
We left around 7PM-ish from Qyel's house. We drove down to Miggy's/Raisa's house to pick up the sunglasses I left there, so that my eyes would be protected from the sun for the 10 minutes of sunlight left in the day. Needless to say, it was dark most of the time, and it was really scary on the way there since the headlights on Qyel's car pretty much point downwards,so the range of vision is like half of what it should be. Fun times though zoom-zooming around cars.

Arriving in Vegas: When we arrived in Vegas, we meet up with Lauren and Irv at a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, which apparently only sells groceries. We drove over to a Vietnamese restaurant called pho kim long. The Pho was pretty nice. As a small token of appreciation, I treated Qyel (for letting us use his car), and Lauren (for letting us stay at her house) to dinner. Irv didn't eat. Lauren's friends joined us. She has interesting friends. After dinner, we changed locations to a boba cafe called Tea Station. That place easily takes my top spot as the best boba I've had. The mugs/glasses they serve pretty gargantuan, and I got double boba in my honey milk tea which was fun. What was also fun was playing whatever-that-game-is-called-where-you-say-"this is a phone, a what, a phone, a what, a phone, oh a phone!" "Oh so sexy!!

Arriving at Lauren's house: After being out until 3 or so, we went home to Lauren's house. I must say, it is a very big house! Her parents were really nice as well. They treated us with such hospitality. We slept upstairs in our own little section with it's own bathroom and living room with a projector TV! Irv had his own bedroom. Qyel and I slept in the upstairs living room on the sofas.

The Morning After: I woke up with a small headache at around 12PMish. I didn't think too much of it. I was really excited to eat at Sushi Factory. We all got ready and left at around 1:30.

Sushi Factory: This. Place. Owns. It had every single roll I could ever imagine... and a whole lot that I never though could even exist! I didn't eat until I was really full though, because my head really stated hurting around that time, but man, the food was good. I also spilled my soup on the table which was embarrassing. But srsly.... that was a really nice variety of sushi!

Clothes Shopping: After eating, we drove over to Undefeated and Stussy. Irv bought AJ a couple shirts, and I believe he got a pair of shoes for himself. I'm not sure because, at that point, I was standing outside... hoping someone would shoot me in the head because I was already dying in pain anyway.

After shopping for street wear, we went to H&M.I bought a black hoodie which totaled out to be a little over $10 including tax. I didn't actually care about the price. I forgot to bring a sweater to Vegas, so I really needed one. I just got lucky that it was on sale. After I got my sweater, we went to a store called "T-Shirt Diner." I thought that name was kinda cool. Lauren printed an RR logo on her sweater. I REEEEAAAAAALLLLLLYY wanted to do the same to my sweater, but I didn't want to spend too much money in Vegas. I'll just do it sometime later when I have more monies. Her's turned out really nice, and I somewhat regret not getting my sweater done the same time she did every time I see it.

Nighttime: After shopping, we went back to Lauren's house for dinner. We had steak. It was AWESOME! Also, I finally wised up and asked for some Tylenol for my headache. It really helped a lot. I finally felt like I could walk without being on the verge of collapsing. Once the drugz took effect, we headed out to watch The Watchmen.

Rave Motion Pictures: We watched The Watchmen at Rave Motion Pictures. That movie theater owns the hell out of all the theaters in Arizona (except for Imax probably). The student price was $9.25, but it was soooo worth the extra money. They use a DLP projector in the back, so the picture is 100% digital as opposed to the film crap we put up with in Harkins. The picture was so flawless and it looked like it ran at a smoother frame rate. Lauren and her sister Kim didn't seem to notice the difference, or just didn't care (they are probably used to it already), but Irv, Qyel, and I were in such awe. It's a bit depressing realizing that we were content with the crap that Harkins gives us. I want to go back again. Btw, the movie itself was good.

Our last day: The next day, I woke up around 10:30AM. Lauren was at the dentist, and Irv was in Kim's room watching TV. I joined him to watch a show about LA gangs. It made me want to go to LA so I could flash gang signs at people and maybe see some shit go down. Eventually, Lauren came home, we got ready, and left for Tokyo Discount. The place had a lot of cool stuff like sick airsoft guns (they had a realistic looking Aug!) among other things. I only bought some Gatsby hair wax though. Qyel bought a ton of food/candy... presumably for his g *space* f.

After Tokyo discount, we drove to the strip. We wanted to eat at Flamingo's buffet, but they decided to be homo, so we left to walk around at Caesar's Palace. We looked at the cool shops, and watched a ghetto show there. We left to eat a Buffet Asia outside of the strip. I got full really fast. Good eating though. Cupcakery was closed after we finished eating which was very homo as well.

Goin' back: So we went home after doing random stuffs. It took us a crazy-long time to get going, so we left after 9:00PM which was also homo. It was decided that I was going to drive Lauren's SUV back home. I must say, it is very fun to drive that 4Runner. It was a pretty standard drive back, other than the fact that I ran over an innocent bunny rabbit (or what looked like one), and got pulled over by a police van.

So the bunny rabbit story goes like this: (mind you this all happens in about the span of 1 second.) Actually, I think I'm just going to copy paste the chat log of I told Francis.

[09:40] paranoiasurviva: I was doing about 75 on the highway right
[09:40] paranoiasurviva: nothing in sight
[09:40] paranoiasurviva: just straight road for the few miles I could see ahead
[09:40] paranoiasurviva: Then out of no where
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: the corner of my eye catches something move on my left
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: I hear Qyel yell...
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: OH SHIT!
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: I see the bunny cross over
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: RIGHT in front of my tire
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: and before you know it
[09:41] PiNoYBbOy07: =-O
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: I had my first real road kill
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: I felt it in the steering wheel
[09:41] PiNoYBbOy07: hahahaha
[09:41] PiNoYBbOy07: dang.
[09:41] paranoiasurviva: Qyel felt the bump as well
[09:42] paranoiasurviva: Directly after running it over
[09:42] PiNoYBbOy07: did you stop?
[09:42] paranoiasurviva: I looked at my rearview
[09:42] paranoiasurviva: and I saw a cloud of fur behind me
[09:42] PiNoYBbOy07:
[09:42] paranoiasurviva: Apparently, Irv who was driving behind our SUV, didn't see it
[09:42] paranoiasurviva: but clearly... we did run over it because there's still some fur attached to our tire.
[09:42] PiNoYBbOy07: man thats crazy
[09:42] PiNoYBbOy07: haha
[09:43] PiNoYBbOy07: i was like driving home and i got qyels text
[09:43] PiNoYBbOy07: i was like WHAAT
[09:43] paranoiasurviva: Yeah dude
[09:43] paranoiasurviva: Qyel was like twittering the whole ride back... only by twitter, I mean mass texting.
[09:43] PiNoYBbOy07: LOL

Yeah, but anyway, the getting pulled over story goes as follows: Irv zoomz through a 45MPH zone at 67MPH. I'm behind him wondering... WTF is this douche thinking. He zooms by a police van but the van doesn't move. We pass him as I go through the zone at about 47MPH. He turns on his headlights, and proceeds to follow me. I try switching lanes a few times to try to lose him or something like that. He totally just changes lanes and stays behind me the whole time. Plan A failed. He turns on his red and blues and I pull over. Irv ahead of me does the same. They turn on the crazy bright spotlights and point it towards us. It takes what seems to be like an hour for them to get out of their damn van. Two cops walk up (one on each side of our SUV), and flashlight our faces. They ask something along the lines of "Do you have any drugs, weapons, explosives, or excessive amounts of cash on you?" I promptly reply with a "no sir." I then explain that the Mazda 3 pulled over ahead of us is my friend. I guess they took a while to get out of their van because Qyel's shady looking car freaked em out. Overall, the cops were chill though. They said they tagged Irv going about 64 in the 45 zone, and they for some reason though I was doing a similar speed. I tried explaining how I wasn't speeding, but he didn't believe me. Anyway, the office finally cut to the chase and said they pulled us over because our license plate light was not working. What a shitty reason... It took us a few minutes to find the registration + insurance of the 4Runner. Who would have thought it would be in the secretive pouch on the passenger-side visor? But yeah, everything checked out and we were on our way again. We stopped by a Wal-Mart on the way back. Irv said the only things the cop said (one of the cops btw looked like Seth Rogan)was "good job pulling over" and "if you're comfortable, could you back up a bit?" It's weird they didn't mention his homo-speeding, but I'm glad none of us got ticketed for shit.

So I think Qyel is finally waking up. I'm sitting here right now blogging on his laptop because I'm the only one awake at his house with nothing else to do. I hope I get to go to LA/Six Flags tomorrow/Thursday.

GG.
